No of vacancies: A total of 1608 Vacancies exists.

Eligibility: Ex-Servicemen who have retired after putting in 15 years of service and have passed Army Class-I certificate or equivalent, are eligible to apply.

Age Limit:
UR candidates age limit is 33 years + extent of military service + 3 years as on 01-01-2013.
SC/ST candidates age limit is 38 years + extent of military service + 3 years as on 01-01-2013.
OBC candidates age limit is 36 years + extent of military service + 3 years as on 01-01-2013.

Pay Scale : Pay Band-1 of Rs.5200-20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.1800/-

Selection Process: Selection of eligible candidates will be made on the basis of total length of military service & Ex-Servicemen to the extent of vacancies will be called for verification of original documents. After verification of documents, a final panel will be prepared from this list. There will be no Written Examination/Interview or Physical Efficiency Test.

Medical Examination: The empanelled candidates will be subject to Medical Fitness Examination.

Examination fee: No examination fee is applicable.
